Electroencephalography (EEG) studies involve placing electrodes onto the scalp to measure the brain’s electrical activity.

EEG is useful in the diagnosis and monitoring of the following:

  • Epilepsy
  • Blackouts
  • Migraine
  • Confusion states
  • Dizzy spells or ‘funny turns’
  • Depression
  • Dementia
