Dr Sameen Haque completed her basic physician training at the Westmead Hospital in Sydney (2014) followed by general neurology training at Nepean Hospital in Sydney (2015) and The Canberra Hospital (2016) gaining experience in acute and general neurology.

Dr Sameen Haque undertook a neuromuscular fellowship at Royal North Shore Hospital in 2017 with focus on clinical neurophysiology, neuromuscular and neurogenetic disorders. She also gained experience in the management of patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) through MS and neuroimmunology clinics at the Royal North Shore Hospital. She is currently pursuing a higher research degree focusing on adult patients with Mitochondrial disease. She has previously completed a master’s degree in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Sydney in 2012.

Dr Sameen Haque currently works as a staff specialist in Neurology at Nepean Hospital where she also runs the neurophysiology clinic. She is also actively engaged in medical education at the Nepean Hospital. Her special interests include neuromuscular disorders, multiple sclerosis, clinical electrophysiology and use of botulinum toxin.
